The declaration comes after Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) authorities held chats with Indian delegates in New Delhi.

Martin included the CGF is “enchanted” India will contend at the Games and affirmed the nation “communicated an aspiration” to have the occasion in 2026 or 2030.
India last facilitated the multi-sport occasion in Delhi in 2010.
