Bleeding disorders such as hemophilia, which is a hereditary genetic disorder that restricts the body’s ability to control coagulation or blood clotting, the very thing that stops bleeding when a blood vessel is broken. This disorder seems to be more prevalent in males than in females. There are also hematological malignancies which include lymphoma and leukemia. Lymphoma is cancer in the lymph nodes and is intensely related to the immune system. Leukemia is a cancer of the circulating blood and marrow and is usually documented with an abnormal increase of white blood cells. Leukemia, as well as many disorders of the body, is also related to the immune system and therefore responds accordingly.

Vitamins that can complement and strengthen the immune system in terms of these disorders include Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and Vitamin E. The correct doses of these vitamins are critical since the body can only absorb a certain amount of any vitamin at any given time and each disorder is different in and of itself.
